FAO Director-General highlights importance of agriculture in climate change talks

In an interview published today with Reuters, FAO Director General, Jacques Diouf called for greater recognition of agriculture in the climate change talks. He also touched upon the need for a financial mechanism to encourage countries which have forests to conserve them and the importance of conservation agriculture. Read the complete interview here.
